  • What day will he be eligible? Looks like he may have to be pressed into action with Kane being hurt. Team will need some much needed guard depth and someone to help get the ball up the floor.

I assume that it will be as soon as the grades are posted and it is certain that he passed the necessary classes. That could be Friday. If that's the case, he could dress Saturday. He has NOT practiced with the team in an official manner and by NCAA rules was not allowed to have  a playbook.

  • Ty is right.  He has been working out and has been attending practices but not participating.  Dunk and I spoke with Herrion and I thought I heard him tell Dunk that it would be the 15th.

Coach Skerry on Kelvin - "Kelvin is a very powerful, combo guard and an excellent passer. Once he gets in the lane he's good at finding others. He hails from a terrific program under Alif Muhammad and coach Rudy King who have really built a national powerhouse quickly. Kelvin was recruited by a lot of people throughout the entire country. He has a chance to be an immediate impact guy for us on both ends of the floor. He's a lead guard that if you put the ball in his hands he can make plays out of there for himself and others."
