  • Sounds like Ahmad and Byron are cut from the same cloth.  From ESPN.com

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has a sprained knee, which could keep him out of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin would not rule Bradshaw out for the game, citing the running back's toughness and ability to play through pain. But Coughlin said he would not put any odds on Bradshaw's status, knowing that he is considered perhaps the toughest player on the team.

"I am not going to speculate -- because of the toughness of this young man -- on how long it would be," Coughlin said. "He is very positive about it and definitely wants to get back as fast as he can.

"I am not going to rule him out of anything. I am not going to talk about the percentages or anything like that. You can speculate on that knowing full well what the injury is."

Because of the injury, Bradshaw carried the ball only 11 times for 33 yards during the Giants' 52-27 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Bradshaw has battled through pain in his surgically repaired feet and ankles and often will play despite limited practice time during the week. He has missed only one game this season, during Week 3 against Carolina, because of a neck injury.

"The other day when he did injure the knee (against the Saints), he got it taped and went back in and had three straight short-yardage runs in a row to make a key first down," Coughlin said. "No one even knew what was going on there. He told me he had no limitations. He is a tough son of a gun. I say that with admiration."

  • I hate how people criticize him when he has been battling through injuries all season and still has found ways to be productive like his 100 yard games and his 200 yard game against the Browns, also his game against the 49ers where he got over 100 yards and a TD. Also as soon as he has 1 bad game and everyone wants to replace him with Wilson because he had one good game. When Andre Brown wasent hurt Bradshaw carried the ball the majority of the first half and then they started giving Brown the carries in the 2nd half when the defense was worn down.

  • Sounds weird, but I would like to see Ahmad retire.  We would make a heck of a offensive coach in college, and could probably recruit with the best in the land. He can probably relate to everyone he meets............period.

  • When did Bradshaw Mention going into coaching after his NFL career was over?  I wouldn't be surprised if he would just like to take a couple few years off...
