Stay at 10 for a few seasons to see how Charlotte/Old Dominion grow in FBS. To see how much stronger other schools get. What their fan bases do.
Then determine what schools bring the most value to the new conference.

I know. I know. UCONN is supposedly off to ACC.
Well right now looks like UCONN and Cincy are stuck.

This conference would be very good in basketball.

Actually, the markets aren't half bad, maybe sub out LT for ODU and you have some very solid markets.

No, you give time to OD to get their feet wet in FBS and become competitive in CUSA.
Then after 3 or 4 seasons, you decide to invite them.

No hurry here.

And no sense in having a strong conference being weakened or watered down by docs move ups.
Let the smaller conferences do that.
