  • I think things have definately changed, we have the best offense in the nation and the future is bright, imo...

When you finish the season at 5-7, things haven't changed. The future may, or may not be bright.

  • Bradshaw was the #7 prospect in the state of Virginia, and a top 30 cornerback prospect in the nation coming out of high school.  Lee Smith was the #19 tight end in the country after his senior year of high school.  I don't really know what your point was in pointing out those 2 players.  If you are trying to say that Snyder was a good recruiter by mentioning 2 of his very few bright spots, both of those players started at other schools, so that is  no different than Doc's recruits sitting out for a year.

You can't say Doc hasn't recruited winners, just because the haven't put together an unforgettable season yet.  Our freshman running backs performed among the best in the nation, his quarterback was the conference POY.  If we had any kind of defense this season we would have won C-USA.  Next year, our offense with still be phenomenal, and I believe with some guys who will play next year that we didn't have this year, plus a few guys returning, and the right DC hire, our defense will transform almost as much as our offense did in one offseason.

There is absolutely no pleasing some of you.  If we go undefeated next year, it won't be worth getting excited over because VA Tech is down, and the conference schedule isn't the same as years past.  We could be NIU and beat Fla State in a BCS bowl and a couple of you would say the win didn't count for anything because FSU diet want to be there.  WVU is having a down year, so you insist on coming over here and hoping to stir up trouble/bring us down to your level.

BuyNtelos - Why do you have your panties in a wad? Why so defensive? I don't know how you could interpret the comment as from a Eer fan either. I was not trying to draw any comparisons between Doc and Snyder recruiting, just responding that these two were probably 4 stars that panned out. Read the initial post of "Consider this"
