Watching Va Tech I would not trade Cato for Logan Thomas.  Thomas is big but not a very good QB.  Is there a chance that that we could have a special year next year and go undefeated?  I don't see Va Tech as that good.

Understand that I am a realist and understand that this coaching staff should have won 8 games at a minimum this year but we have the talent that has the ability to go undefeated.

We did not have the players on D to go undefeated. The D coach was a huge problem; still there is no way we had the D players necessary to go undefeated. Just were not big enough. Got pushed around often.

If you are saying we will have them next season, then you're doing what is done every year, and I thought we learned that lesson. You know that lesson that says wait until you see the talent in game action before proclaiming how much and what kind we have.

I guess this was more of a testiment of how bad I think Va Tech looks.  Logan Thomas is very overated as he is just not very good.  I perceive Va Tech on the road as our most difficult game next season and they just don't look like world beaters.

Liking the attitude re next year!  You are right about VPI.  My neighbor is a huge fan and has spent much of the last 5 months on suicide watch.

Yes, i believe we could go undeafeted. But it will depend on the coaches and a more hungry attitude from the players. Only 2 teams that we wasn't right there for the win was WV and UCF and we don't play either next year. If the coaches coach up the players and the players play with everything they have, there isn't a team we can't or shouldn't beat next year. Will we? I don't know, but it will be there for the taking, JMO!!!!

Every time Logan Thomas plays on TV all the ESPN announcers do is talk about his size and strength. That's it.

To this point he has been a decent, but certainly not an NFL caliber quarterback, like many suggested on the Mothership earlier in the season.

Keep in mind, he's a junior. He can still get better.

I saw Logan Thomas in high school and thought that he was one of the most athletic tight ends I had ever seen play.  I still can't believe that they converted him to quarterback.

Thomas looked horrible.  I can't believe I'm saying this, because of our past track record, but I can't wait to play them next year.

Call me crazy but I can`t think of a QB I would trade Rakeem for in college. He is an awesome QB,,, getting better,,, and he is a Marshall QB  ;D

Seems one day in practice after a play he threw a rope some 60-70 yards back to the line of scrimmage and turned some heads.

Where are these undefeated predictors? You have to factor in that we have fans that were making such predictions in the Snyder era. I'd like to think that the majority are still able to use history as a lesson learned tool when it comes to predicting. Wait till these guys are playing on game day. That will be the time that we know what we have and what we can expect.
