He is a good coach, but he is serving a 3 year "show cause" penalty from the NCAA right now - I don't think anyone considers hiring Bruce Pearl until 2015

He can't return until 2014 I believe...and I wouldn't want his cheating ass anyways.  Not to mention his teams play sloppy, unorganized playground basketball.  I don't think his style will ever win a championship...JMO.

Bruce Pearl would be a great hire. He would run circles around anybody we have had.  Once his penalty is over he will get another job. His violation was minor in that he lied about a recruit visit. Had he not lied he would not got in as much trouble. Our wonderful football program committed worse violations than what Pearl did.

We will lose a significant amout if season ticket holders next year if Herrion is still here. To be honest I want him to work out but I am really puzzled this year. The two things that make me frustrated the most is his stubbornness with defense and his teams lack of free throw shooting ability.

you're right on that one. Did you ever sit behind his bench? Wow, he would absolutly embarass any sailor out there with his language. I sometimes wonder how he is able to get through a game as an analyst with out letting a few F bombs slip.

he was a horrible hire for wvu (their recruiting violations really paid off in that he got scared & ran away, allowing them to replace him w/a real coach in beilein), & he'd be a horrible hire for us, as well!

Kopp would never sign off on a Pearl hire. He doesn't like hiring guys with past NCAA issue. I would LOVE to have Pearl as our next coach, but it just isn't going to happen.
