  • How dare him for being competitive and getting in the opponenta head. What you just described is what Jordan, Miller, and almost all the NBA greats do. Jordan and Miller verbally said it outright in their 30 for 30 espn specials. I like the kid, i like his spirit, and wished we had 10 of him.

That is true to an extent, but you can't be celebrating when you are down by 20. There is also no need to celebrate after every little thing that you do. A three pointer is not that special.

It wouldn't be too big of a deal if it didn't have an effect on defense, but it does. Celebrating often leads to open buckets from our opponents.

I think everybody agrees that Pittman brings a lot of talent to the court, but constantly yelling and berating his own teammates along with celebrating mediocre events needs to be dealt with and managed. There is a time to celebrate and there is a time to stay focused and get back on defense. Knowing when everything is appropriate is what made the other players you mentioned special.

  • Ill give you that. But at least this kid isnt pouting to officials, or missing 15 shots a game. If we had a team of Pittman like players, they would be up by 20-30, instead of down. Maybe he can exercise more discretion, but i like it more than i dislike it.
