The Marshall University club rugby team is looking for new participants for the fall 2013 season.The rugby team finished their fall season with a record of 2-4 and finished third in conference division 2 play. Now, they are looking to strengthen their team and move to division 1 this fall. The team is in the process of getting its own field on campus this upcoming summer. The team has 20 players on the roster, but 30 players are needed to be eligible for division 1.Cameron Thompson, president of the rugby club, said everyone on the rugby team looks out for each other.“There is nothing more special than having a buddy that will bleed for you, take hits for you, take pain for you and strive with you,” Thompson said. “You never get closer friends than people who are on your sports team of any kind. You have more of bond because we are all competing for the same goal.”Thompson said the rugby team is more than just a club.
