the referees did NOT loose this game for the Herd tonite........MARSHALL LOST THIS GAME TONITE ! quit looking at things thru the green sunglasses, WE ARE NOT A GOOD BASKETBALL TEAM ! P E R I O D !!!!!
I have to look at the game from a very unbias position due to my job at home games, the referees didnt miss a call tonite in my eyes.....that was an "A" crew tonite....Rick Hartzell, Kevin Mathis and Jeb Hartness.....thats an "A" crew.
now....I am not going to name names here and embarrass a kid on a public forum.....but there is a "CANCER" on this team, and it is NOT the player that just about everyone here and in other forums are bashing continously ! people, just do your math....a pretty darn good team last year......and now this team morphs in 2013 ! just sit down and think about it !

I don't know if I agree with "didn't miss a call" but they didn't make a huge difference in the game.  I do agree with the player you are talking about...

The refs DID NOT lose the game. The Herd lost the game, but memphis always get calls when they need them and not just against us. It is not about just fouls either.  Bottom line...memphis is a better team than us and we are having a horrible season. GO HERD!!

Refs did not lose this game. Not blocking out, following shots, lackadaisical passing, and not playing defense cost us this game.

You know the refs cost us this game. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have cried and argued and complained. Instead we would have got back on defense and been think about playing the game. I've never seen a team have to beg and plead and cry and complain so much. And you don't think it was the refs fault? ;D

I don't think it is hard at all to pick out who that may be.  Honestly, if it is who I have said had the worst Case of being his own #1 fan I have ever seen.  We had a very well respected coach in here a few weeks ago coaching an opponent, and one of our players stared him down every single time he did anything, as if sizing him up or saying I'm better than you were, and that is nowhere near the case.  Don't get me wrong, he is very good, I'd say could, n maybe should be our best player.  We've already read reports he may not be here next year, and cancer I think is the best term for describing. 
My main concern is how was it not noticed during recruiting, or is that just what we have to settle for at MU.  Great ability and talent, but horrible attitude that offsets it all.

just watch him.....ALWAYS jawing at the other players.....ALWAYS jawing with the other coaches.....ALWAYS jawing with his fellow teammates.....ALWAYS jawing with his coaches......and whats worse, cause you havent been in the league long enough to earn the respect to do this, ALWAYS JAWING WITH THE REFEREES !

Let's don't beat around the bush. It's Pittman, and i agree he needs to grow up and just play ball. Remember we had another one for his first 2 years that was every bit as bad. Actually lead the nation in tecnicals. And he still hasn't totally changed. But i agree Pittman needs to just play the game and shut his mouth and quit whining. He has the most upside of anyone on this team if he would just play the game. 6'9" and can shoot the 3, run the floor, ESPN highlight type dunk's. If these guys could just learn to play the game instead of letting every little call destroy their focus. I have never seen a team EVER anywhere act like our team does. It is disgraceful and gives Marshall a bad name the way that our guys respond in games. Only Herrion would put up with this type of attitudes and barking at the refs.  SAD!!!!

Interesting, I was talking to a friend the other day who knows Pittman from his days at Holmes High in Covington Ky.  They were very a good team.

My friend said Pittman basically grew up in deplorable conditions, really bad don't want to go into details.  He thought that it was a great that Pittman landed at MU, close to home.

So anyway not condoning if Pittman is a problem, and I have no clue, but just shedding some light on his back ground.

He isn't doing a bit more than Kane did for 2 years. And people LOVE him. These attitudes is the problem of the head coach. He is the one that doesn't do a thing about it. Coach Herrion needs to go!!!!
