  • Just as an FYI.  Seider is at WVU interviewing today.  Doesn't mean he will be offered, or even go if he is offered.  So there is truth to the rumor.

  • WVU was paying their old RB coach 300k. That kind of money would be hard for JS to turn down and I wouldn't blame him

  • If he wants to leave for whatever reason, best wishes.  I'm sure working for an arrogant, obnoxious, drunk would be a blast!!  GO HERD OR GO HOME!!!

  • Maybe we should just shut the program down if he leaves.  Good grief.  It happens all the time at every school.  Surely, we could find a way to survive.

  • Remember Doc has been known as a great recruiter long before coach Seider was with him. I hope coach Seider stays because he is a strong recruiter and good coach though.

Agree and I definitely want him to stay.  I just think why worry over things you can't control.  If we can't survive without him then this program is in serious trouble.

  • I'm pretty sure he was with his family in Beckley earlier this morning.  I don't think he is in Morgantown.  That's not saying he isn't going, I just don't think the rumors he is there right now are true.

and the program is in great shape now??  He's the best thing the program has going for it...young, entergetic, best recruiter Marshall has ever had, coached and recruited the freshman of the year and conference player of the year....DISASTER!

Ok.  Let's just shut it down then.  Why should we even play anymore?  We can't survive.  Let's just give up.  We will never be able to replace him and nobody else on the staff is able to function without him.  Mashall football is finished.

If I knew my wife didn't post on here I'd think you were her.  No need to be dramatic but anyone that thinks this wouldn't have a huge negative impact doesn't know what Seider has brought to our program.

Well, I am a wife just not yours.  LOL!!!  It would be bad, but we can't control what happens.  I have faith that we could survive his leaving.  Everybody is replaceable.

  • I laugh when people act like Seider is irreplaceable.  Sure it wouldn't be a good thing but it's not like we've been world beaters because he was here.  I swear some people have given up on winning and have settled for "well we recruit better than we used to".

All we have heard for the last 8 years is how much better we recruit compared to the last guy.  I am so tired of hearing about recruiting. Give me a staff that takes average recruits and gets everything out of them, over the staff that gets the guys with more stars but doesn't get the most out of them.

Don't take this as a I want Pruett back statement but he would have taken his lower rated players and beat the ever living hell out of the teams Snyder or Doc have put on the field.

  • WVU's premium boards are using this thread as their source that Seider is up there interviewing.

It still boggles my mind that WVU monitors us so closely. Why would they spend their free time browsing our independent forums.

(Just to clarify...I read this on HerdNation's smack forum so I can't be accused of the same ridiculous obsession)

  • be willing to bet he has more stroke in Fla now than Holliday.

His recruits this year were eye popping.

Must be one heck of a salesman.

This is one I'd pony up some more money for.

GRANTED, HE'LL BE A HEAD COACH or the #2 SOMEWHERE IN THE NEXT 3 YEARS ANYWAY....

but until then, we need to re-allocated funds and find the money to keep him.

If not WVU....someone will take this guy.

He signs bcs level recruits....  not CUSA level recruits.

  • I heard tonight that he is good as gone.

If true, I want to personally thank him for his time here and wish him well at WVU.
