MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- One day after interviewing at his alma mater, JaJuan Seider has been hired as the new running backs coach at West Virginia, Charleston Daily Mail sources said Friday.
The addition was later confirmed by WVU Coach Dana Holgorsen's Twitter page, not long after wrapping up an interview with another candidate for the job.

Seider, who has his B.S. and mater's degrees from WVU, arrives after three seasons at Marshall. Seider is an original member of Doc Holliday's Herd staff and has been running backs coach and recruiting coordinator since January 2010.

  • Step back from the ledge. We will be fine.  He did any of us would do.  If I got that type of raise I would go to.  Don't take it so personal. Wish him well and then forget about him. Life is too short to worry about someone getting a raise.

    Congrats coach.

Or maybe three.  It will be big money to buy that contract out in addition to to Big 12 buy in and the BE buy out.

Good luck to Seider except while at the Who.  No hard feelings.  Money talks.  Completely understand his situation/decision.

This is how I feel.  He worked hard while here and gave us all he had.  I wish him luck but not the eerdiots.  I understand the decision as well.  The guy has three kids....hard to turn that down.

  • My favorite comment from all of this is he was only making $95,000 at Marshall and then I look at my paycheck and think to myself, man I wish I was only making $95,000..... ;)

  • Was there EVER any doubt that he was heading back???...all I know is that he's now a f*cking Mountaineer...no hard feelings...don't blame him a bit for taking the position...but's that EXACTLY who he is...then, when he returns, like Bill Legg, he can return to being a functional human being once more...

Nope. He would have left regardless of the offer.
