I watched the MU-Rice game the other day on TV. With decision-making like I saw in that game, one must be careful when setting expectations for this team.

I'll stick with 6-6 or 7-5 if we lose to the Bobcats...but no fewer than eight wins if we win in Athens...and with kickoff at 8:00 the intensity will be ratcheted upward several notches...really, almost a "must win" in the scheme of things...

If we beat OU, who are the other 3 losses besides vtech? Just curious.

I said "no less than eight wins"...but Tulsa and MTSU are both pretty good and are at home...and if we aren't emotionally ready we could lose to anyone regardless of what the numbers say...

I still say 8-4. OU, Va Tech, Tulsa and MTSU. Granted this is the first year in many that I can say, other than Tech, we can easily win all our games with a solid effort each week. But with our defense needing a major makeover and this being Heaters first year, I am inclined to be cautious and not expect drastic changes on the defensive side as others seem to be doing. Just an opinion. Anything better than 8-4 would be a great year for this program. jmo
