  • Beast!! He needs to be more involved. Short yardage blocker and/or runner.

  • WOW!!!!

Its a shame that he doesn't get some snaps in the running game of the first string offense. Sure would be nice to have a guy like him lining up in short yardage or goal line situations.

  • Did you notice they put him in the slot as a WR today, after he made those catches.....

He jumped off sides and ran his entire route before he noticed the whole team was still lined up and the ball hadn't been snapped...LOL

  • I agree. That's what we were saying when we had it first and goal inside the 5. Doc must be nuts.

  • Made a nice move in the flat to fake out an oncoming defender and turn a would-be-loss into positive yards.

Diving snare of a bullet from Cato ...

I don't see how anyone directly in front of DJohnson with momentum at the goal line would not get pushed back. A load.

How can this guy not be getting more snaps.

  • Went to most of the preseason practices and from my vantage point this is the guy who stood-out the most. Until today, I think he had only two catches; one of those for a TD.
He is a FB, TE, SB who runs like a WR and has "good hands." Probably would make a good LB too.
I have wondered all season why he has not been used more.

His time is coming...Gator graduates, and he's starting to prove his case.  Still raw, but I think the kid has very high draft potential.

Agreed.  I was glad to see him get some quality playing time today.  A lot of talent on offense on this team.  They all can't play at the same time.  He's going to catch a lot of heck from his teammates over that offsides penalty.

I thought the same thing, as did the person that watched the practices/scrimmages w/ me.  He was the most talented guy after the catch on the team in the practices, by a mile.  Him not getting PT is as criminal to me as #20 watching the other guys...

  • He runs very hard when he has the ball. He also punishes defenders. The poor CB for So Miss had to tackle him on their sideline right before a TO or end of quarter maybe. Anyways I watched him during the whole break and the CB was still hurting when we went back out to play.

  • From my untrained eyes he appears more talented, but somehow he reminds me of Trod Buggs, one of my favorite players ever...a utility guy who fills in wherever needed and does it with passion...
