GRANT TRAYLORTULSA, Okla. -- For Marshall football this week, it's all about firsts.Thursday's 7:30 p.m. contest against Tulsa (2-7 overall, 1-4 Conference USA) at H.A. Chapman Stadium will mark the first time Marshall (6-3 overall, 4-1 C-USA) has played a Nov. 14 road game since the Nov. 14, 1970 plane crash. That will certainly be on the Thundering Herd's minds as they look to honor the 75 victims of that crash with a victory. The Herd will wear "75" decals on their helmets. The game will be nationally televised by Fox Sports 1, which is Ch. 50 on Huntington Comcast cable.
