Well i think it is pretty stupid to have a 3rd and one and run a one back set like we have 160lb back with no lead blocker. JMO. But i'm sure DOC is the man and knows that this is the best way to get that 1 yd. Actually anyone should know a lead blosker is just crazy.

I don't know the stats but I feel like our RB's do a pretty good job in those situations. Cato also does a great job in those situations keeping the ball and scrambling some.

I do think Johnson can be used but I just feel like we do pretty good in those situations as is. Again I'm basing this off my own observations and stats could prove me wrong lol. I just don't know the stats off the top of my head.

Well i'm going to stay a little more on the sidelines and just sit back and laugh at more of these posts. Like Johnny's we might only be 1-9 without Cato. Honestly, you can't even argue with this kind of nonsense posts. With this schedule we could be 3-7 right now with an offensive lineman at QB. How could Gardner Webb, S Miss and Miami O have beat us? They would have their hands full with Wayne HS.

With the smaller RB's do we convert 100% of those situations? No.  Would using a much bigger RB improve the odds of conversion? Yes.

Who makes these final decisions? Doc.

All it takes is 1 key non-conversion on a drive to lose a game.  The smart thing would be to at least have a play that involves running big Johnson when or if needed.
