Good question. Problem is college is 8 hours away for a noon game after Thanksgiving. Having said that, a lot of their fans are in Charlotte NC.

I can't see too much to get upset about. What they're saying about us isn't that much different that what we're saying about them. They're fans talking about the next game on a partisan board. Try visiting a Cryami board or a quEER board if you want to see herd hostile fans.

Neither is greensteve or a ton of other Marshall fans....this team needs to prove it can get it done. No turnovers, no stoopid special teams play. Execute. Take care of the ball. Quite frankly I'm having visions of leaving after the WVU loss and the Ohio loss last year. Both winnable games, both losses.

Nevertheless.

It's flat out going to be a war.

Here is my take and my opinion.
We struggle against fast defenses that can play man. Reason = we are not explosive with our skill players. They are good but not explosive. We do not have a skill player that can explode and take it to the house. Their D line dominated our oline today. How do you game plan that? I just think they are faster and came for blood today. We tried screens and they flew to the ball. How may ball did they knock down? What you had today was a team out for blood and they are a more talented team. When I watched them play VT they were much faster and I said it then. Their QB is erratic but can run and played great today.
As for our defense, They got killed today. A lot of that was due to the fast that Marshall could run the ball. No one has done that on us and I do think we are good against the run. We ran into a Marshall team today that was clicking. I dont have a answer and I do think our team is well coached. Our C vs their A is a but kickin. I think they caused some of that as well
Choice = it is everyones choice to hate this team. I don't! I like this team and think they have done some good things this year. They completely throttled State and UNC. And at their place. I like our coach and we have good players in the pipe line. We have to get a skill players that can take it to the house and we need to be more athletic up front. That is easier said than done.
One of the big things you saw today were admissions policies and that is not an excuse. I think the Marshall players have done what they needed to do and the coaches did their job. We have to get some of these skill players in school and we have not been able to. That was the difference in the game today! SPEED!!!!!! We are not slow, Marshall can fly.
Some of the difference in the run game was the speed they have at back. I love coop and am honored he played for us. He does not have the burst the Marshall back had. He made a lot on his on and ran by LB's.
My negative today was we were not aggressive and were not physical. That was my take. MArshall ran all over us and knocked the crap out of us.

Cato is far from erratic.  MUCH better player than Carden.  Other than that, good analysis.

Also, we are WAY better than NC State, UNC, & obviously ECU.

Guess they shouldn't have bragged about owning the state until the season was over.  I'd say there players, like there fans, were overconfident.  We would have got them either way, and on the road as well, I think.
