  • I'm listing RU because they're the only other school that could host the title game...the Owls, in its four games at Rice Stadium (capacity 47,000), have averaged 18,104, with a range of 14,380 (FAU) to 22,974 (Kansas)...they also were listed as the "home team" in their game at Reliant Stadium vs. Houston, where the # was 34,381...their game attendance against the Herd last year was listed as 14,204, though if you look at Dunk's highlights it looks more like maybe 5,000-7,000...MAYBE...conversely, our average was 25,023, almost the exact number from today...my guess is that if the championship tilt is on the road that it won't draw 10,000...

  • CUSA officials are secretly hoping like hell that the game is played in Huntington.

  • Maybe we can leapfrog Rice with our win today.  ECU was ranked #33 in some polls.  I agree, CUSA is hoping for an environment that we can provide vs. tumble weeds blowing through the stadium.
