Looks like hundreds of Rice fans are sitting on the edge of their seats:)

"On rainy days, the early justices would enliven case conferences with wine. On other days, even if the sun was shining, Chief Justice John Marshall would order wine anyway, saying, 'Our jurisdiction is so vast that it must be raining somewhere.' "

  • The play is what sets the ranking, but in no way shape or form could the CUSA admin be happy if Rice gets to host.  I think we would outnumber their fans in their own stadium if we have to play there.  It's pitiful!

Nice to see the Rice player's families supporting them.   ;D

  • A championship game at Rice would look terrible for CUSA. Marshall would bring a couple of thousand and Rice would have their typical 500 home crowd. We need that game to be in Huntington.

  • I'll give them credit...since the days off Todd Graham they've been competitive--even good--most seasons despite the apparent lack of interest, unlike schools like UAB and Memphis...

  • Tulane has 9 yards of offense.  Negative 1 yard passing.  ::)

    Pathetic.

Computers unless we steal some of the people votes ECU was getting in Coaches or Harris polls. CUSA has a vote in Coaches poll. Our voter is from Rice.

  • I think put Rice and Tulane teams together and you still don't have a team.   They both suck........Wayne H S could play with either of these two teams....And probably draw a bigger crowd

  • Don't underestimate Rice. There's a reason they beat us last year. And that reason might just start at the top... their coach impresses me.

  • Yikes... you're right... it just felt like a loss because it went to overtime and I had to leave before it ended.

Nonetheless... point oughta be well-taken... they'll compete with us.

  • Part of it is the home-away deal. Many underestimate how that works. Almost every team plays significantly better at home.
