  • Of course he would take that job. They're not smart enough to try to hire him though. Even if they were I don't think they want to pay 11 million buy out.

  • If I remember correctly Hamrick put a special buyout clause in his contract. It's pretty substantial but can't remember the exact number. I think it only applies if he was to take a job at wvu.

    I believe any coach would look at that job a looooonnng time as the Big 12 is above their pay grade.  They will be the KY of the Big 12 for a long time... ....  Not a good job................

  • I believe I remember that his buyout is tripled for one school of Hamrick's choice, and I would assume that his choice would be WVU. But, I don't think that Doc has too many more years on his contract, so it might not be that much.
