HUNTINGTON -- Marshall running back Essray Taliaferro has always been a guy that loves the thrill of rivalries.

It simply fits his scrappy, hard-nosed, lunchpail type demeanor on the field.

But the East Carolina matchup?

That gets a little more personal for Taliaferro.

Following his career-high 161-yard performance in Marshall's 59-28 win over East Carolina on Saturday, Taliaferro revealed the reason why there's a bit more juice in his legs when running against the Pirates.
