As I recall ole miss burned freshman Maurice Hines for long gain on first play, they punched it in on second play from scrimmage.  Then our first play Moss TD.  Game began w 2 TDs on first three plays from scrimmage

This is a memory etched in my mind too. Great 1st bowl for MU in the real college football world history.  Would love to play them again in our 1st ever C-USA champion year and last C-USA involvement in the Liberty Bowl.  Could be a great game for the bowl; a HUGE draw.

They draw steady....I watched a thing on them....They make their games a big deal socially....They were getting whipped in the SEC and losing fans....So they flipped the script and treat the games like a party...

Their motto was:  "We may have lost a few football games here, but we've never, ever, lost a party in this stadium!"

I remember that dome was so friggin' hot.  They had the heat CRANKED.  I always thought that had a negative impact on our guys late in the game.

Pruett said so many times, so hot we lost our ability to stay strong and it cost us the game.  They had more depth and it paid off in the 4th for them.
