  • Agree, and that is exactly what I see us doing.  One team has to play away and this year it is us.

  • I seriously agree.  Don't be a crutch.  Don't show such outrage that our guys/team has an excuse to lose this game.  The anger at this might be understandable, but don't let it go too far folks.  If MU doesn't go down to Houston and get this win, it'll be on the team, period.  We've got the talent, and they don't exactly have an overwhelming homefield advantage.  Win this thing, no excuses.  Put that money away that you'd have spent on the game here and purchase bowl tickets with it.  2 more wins, and MU should be ranked at the end of the yr., and probably ranked pre-season next yr. as well.  Earn it.  Go HERD!

  • Worried....distraction of travel and the expectation of playing at home let down.  Rice is also a good team.

That's my concern as well. That said, the coaches are paid to get the kids prepared and motivated. If they can't get up for a possible league crown and ring, more top 25, etc. I don't know if they should be playing football or not.

The band is going to Houston. Hopefully we'll have about 500 fans as well - that should help.
