  • I know a HC search is a little unusual this time of year. But a lot of programs are cranking up for spring ball and may not want some hot shot young coach out interviewing.

    What do you think?
Superior skill and knowledge win over fear and superstition each and every time.

  • Smock says he (Kueck) has the job through the 2005 season....and that stinks, not because I feel any ill will toward Kueck, but because we have plenty of time to do a national search. Can you say "good old boy network?" Marshall's becoming famous for that.

  • I'm not saying that Kueck would not be a good coach, but come on at least give the fans a bone and show that you did a national search before you give the man the job.  For a new coach to come in this late in the game would be tough and confusing for the players (learning a new system, trust, routine, etc...) and that's why Kueck might roll into the job.  He has been here and he knows the system and players and by giving him the job, this would not be as big of a shock to this years team and recruits if he takes over the helm.  But I still would like to see new faces come in and interview at least for the job.  JMO...
    Go Herd...
