My, my, my. Let's be a little melodramatic why don't we? I agree that a full search should be conducted but naming Kueck the coach through the 2005 season is hardly disastrous. Indeed, it might be considered the best thing because we know we will have stability in the program through spring practice, off-season workouts, into fall practice, and through the season. At best anyone new would come in after spring practice. Every coach has his own system and way of coaching and the players would have to try to learn that system in the 3 weeks or so of fall practice before the opening kickoff. If you're going to bring in someone new, then the time to do that is immediately after the end of the season. At that time, he can hit the ground running on recruiting and he can give his playbook to returning players before spring practice ever starts.
