I went back and watched some of the YouTube videos from 2011 vs. FIU, ECU, and U of L...we played a LOT of guys like Van, Martinez, Gale, Carpenter, Crawford, Billy Mitchell, Kelson, King, and Warner (among others)...today, if they were still on the 2014 roster they either would be special teamers or buried on the depth charts ...I mean, they played with a lot of heart and managed to pull out a lot of close ones, and we certainly weren't completely devoid of talent with guys like Dobson and Curry and Omar Brown...nevertheless, there is NO comparison in terms of overall depth and talent from then until now...now let's see if that translates into wins...

Between talent and depth improvement plus the dumbed down schedule should = tons of wins

you can only beat the ones you play but I would wager the Terp win had a lot to msay about who we could have matched up with...for instance the lowly Pirates had wins over UNC(big) and NCSt but didn't match up well with the Herd.
