  • Good to hear....Donnan was always a big proponent of MU and never said anything bad except that Kayo should be fund raising more.

  • Good thing "Not guilty" is not the same as "Innocent" maybe.

But I had no real dog in that fight.

  • So does he and his family get to keep all those millions of dollars, they were moving around and stashing all before this all broke out?

  • Good I guess.  But he is at best guilty of being not so smart ---  70% returns?  And trying to hide/move money???

He may not be off the hook yet. Now comes the civil suits. This thread may need to be combined with the Grooms thread.

  • I don't think civil suits bring prison time; but i could be wrong.

And by the way, the choice is "guilty" or "not guilty".  Trials never settles one's innocence.  So not sure where that comment came from; always an inference I guess.

    He's already filed bankruptcy:

  • Personally, I'm happy that coach Donnan was found "not guilty"
of all charges. Donnan did great things here at Marshall. I hope Herd fans will remember just that and not what they might feel otherwise.

  • I'm sorry, but I don't think his greed reflects Marshall very well.

Not guilty?  If so then not very smart to have been used as a tool by Crabtree.

I don’t see this situation having much impact on MU. I doubt his greed tarnishs Marshall any more than it does Ga. His role in Janitorgate was far more harmful to MU than this matter.

I’m not an anti-Donnan guy, but at this point I’d prefer to remember the years he was here and ignore what has happened since. He was part of Marshall, he isn’t now, and hasn’t been for a very long time: let’s leave it at that.
