Would've been really cool if we'd offered Trey Griffey (Ken Jr.'s son) a couple of years ago. I think he plays at Arizona. Maybe Grandad could've put in a good word for us.  Would've been nice to have the Griffey family associated with our Athletic Program.


Maybe they could've gotten the ball rolling on a baseball stadium too.

I remember a Father-Son Day at Riverfront, Pete Rose Jr., Ken Griffey Jr. ... little more than toddlers out there swatting the ball with oversize bats.

I didn't know KG Sr. came an ace of being in the plane crash. With his speed the sky was the limit in sports.

Ken is an awesome person. I know him personally and we have talked about Marshall many times. He told me some stories about how the crash really bothered his cousin thru his life because he was not on it and many of his friends were. If you ever get to meet Ken, you will think the same about him.
