HOUSTON, Tx.-Marshall triple jumper Jasia Richardson finished second with a leap of 13.12 meters Sunday to lead the Herd on the final day of competition at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The event was held on the campus of Rice University.The Richmond, Va. native finished 0.26 meters (10.25 inches) behind UTEP's Nickevea Wilson. Antonique Butler took 16th in the event with a jump of 11.54 meters.Marshall's 4x400 meter relay team of Tianya Hankerson, Shyra Moulton, Elaine Derricott and Shanice Johnson finished third in a time of 3:42.00.The Herd's 4x100 meter relay squad of Kametra Byrd, Johnson, Derricott and Hope Julmiste notched a sixth-place finish with a time of 45.72 seconds.Marshall finished with a team total of 28 points, good enough for 13th place in the team standings.
