Topic: Speaking About FINISHING Facilities....

Last summer the 3 west tennis courts were to be redone and the east 3
courts to be resurfaced.  The bleachers on the west side were removed 
and the surface was removed (dug out). Then an asphalt sub-base was laid.  

Then they sat........End of summer....NO Work......Fall Season......No Work.
Then the bad weather came in the winter.

 The spring tennis season came and went.  NO Work......

The last match of the year was a home match with U of Cincinnati and
The Herd had to play that last match on 3 COURTS.  UC must have been
snickering up their sleeve at the poor status of the MU Tennis Program.

Oh, bye the way, the bleachers were moved to the north side of the courts
and they divided them in 3 sections and sat them in front of each court....
too far back from the action, but probably to be repositioned when the court
work is completed (hint, hint).

Unless Harry Potter's magic wand has been waved, the asphalt sub-base is
still all that's been done and the summer is about here again.  

Looks like there may be a full 8 member team for the Herd this fall and not
enough courts to practice on come the end of August.

I wonder what the MU Athletic Project work calendar looks like and if this
project is on it to be completed by fall school starting?

I was just wondering.

I thought I read where Hammy said all the courts would be re-done this summer?
