  • "The running game is a concern, though."

Maybe because we might not have enough touches to go around.

They must've not ever seen Stew, Grooms, or Remi touch the ball.

Who writes this garbage?  Running game a concern?  In whose demented universe?  For God's sake do some research people.

Why do you think that Chris Petersen left to take the Washington job?  The Boise State Prez (among others) fell asleep at the switch and now realizes that the Power 5 schools are going to further differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack.

Power 5 Conferences are already working on changes within the NCAA bylaws to permit more autonomy in several areas:

    --Full cost of tuition
    --Complete 24/7 meal plans
--More flexible academic admission standards (think of a nicer way of saying Props)
    --More scheduling flexibility
--The ability to pass legislation governing major college football w/o having to get the   approval of IAA football schools, basketball schools
and mid-majors from the Group of 5.

I was wondering the same thing. In the age of the internet all it takes is a mouse click and you have all the info at your hands. Even though we have all of this information, writers seem to be as lazy as ever.

  • The two biggest concerns are reliable receiving targets after Shuler and brain dead play on the road.

Brain dead play on the road is my BIG concern.  Easy schedule in particular on the road but I just feel like there's one game that's going to Marshall in the ass.

In the writer's defense, we did lose a 1000 yd back and both Butler and Grooms haven't exactly been saints off the field...
