I was "meh.." at first but they grew on me quick. I'm on board. I do think green and black helmets are needed so we can do a few uniform combos.

I guess it's been a few weeks since the masses threw their arms up to complain about something so I suppose we were due.

When 90% of people who are unbiased are saying they are bad, they are bad.

People aren't complaining to just complain... if the equipment staff can't take criticism they need to work in a different field.

Our fans complain about everything, so yeah, most of the time people do complain just to complain. It'd be different if this were an isolated incident, but I've never seen a group complain more than we do.

Wow.....not good. Especially during a year that we are expected to get national attention. We go from having one of the more recognizable and unique uniforms nationwide and then turn around and trade them out for those. Bummer if you ask me. I personally thought we had just the right amount of black in last years version. This is overkill now.

I don't. Maybe I should say I can't imagine another fanbase who complains more than we do.

About the only thing that each individual can do is let Hamrick and the powers that be know his/her opinion...and, if enough people complain, the unis, like the "new Marco" and hunter green, will eventually go away...as for me, my first impression is unquestionably negative, but I'll reserve judgment until I see them personally in deference to those of you who said that the looked better in person than on a screen or page...

He also went on to ask if the ones that don't like the unis have any eligibility left? Major donors? The AD? Then oh well...

The unis are fine.  The numbers will be a real problem at game speed.  They will be difficult to read because of the visual values slide and blend. I expect there is a very good chance the uniforms will stay but the numbers will be all one color with trim by season's end.

Unis do recruit players look at Bama, Ohio St, Penn St, Clemson, Ga Tech, Florida..etc.  that don't change their jerseys. Players want to wear unis that have "value" and history attached.  We Are differant or should be, from Oregon and other schools that have crazy "ugly" unis.

When you rely on students/fans paying tuition, buying tickets, merchandise, and donations... that provides their salary... they should listen to opinions.

Ga. Tech wore honey comb jerseys

Florida wore orange shoulder jerseys (if i remember right)

Ohio State wore pro combat jerseys

Most of those teams wear them for one game and then go back to the old ones.

I doubt we have the money to afford one off jerseys or at least we don't want to prioritize money for that purpose. For those programs buying new jerseys is like finding change in the couch when cleaning up. Florida wore the orange shoulder jerseys for all home games that year. GA Tech wore the honeycombs all seasons I believe.


I'm not trying to talk anyone into liking them, however I don't think it is the travesty that some on here are making it out to be.

They suck.  I'm a "sunshine pumper" (though nobody's called me that since the UM game).  I also kind of wanted an alternative uniform, of just about any sort.  But this sucks.  And is this a permanent, full time change?  EHH.

Let's be fair. They give us plenty to complain about with some really silly decisions. Marco. Intro Vids stolen from other schools. Now this.

It's like once they get one mistake fixed they go out and do something else that is just silly.

I would be ok with the unis if the numbers were a solid color...I think. The way they are...the "Walmart" and "FUBU" description fits perfectly.

Ugh this is just getting more and more laughable... Im a huge Herd fan and try to put a positive twist on this town and school, but this is just sad... especially THE YEAR we are supposed to have cameras all over us.

Away jerseys, black helmets, and green helmets should have been added. It would've given us a few different combos to work with. I'm not sold on the white helmet with these uniforms.
