It's one thing to insult someone for things they say or do... Those are products of our choices.  Picking on someone for features they have no control over is in poor taste.  To insult an infant is beyond the pale.  That comment makes me want to puke.

  • Greg H is an attorney. He's liable to file an action against you claiming you violated his rights under the amendments if you give him the boot. Oh, wait. The Constitution has already been dismantled... nevermind.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech in our society, so why would he anticipate it on a message board. If he does not like or rules here, he is free to develop his own discussion forum.

    He is.

I'm not by any means defending what was said but some of us need not cast stones.

Me personally- not a fan of the graphic. Stuff like chants etc should be up to the fans.  Thunderclap is cool because it's celebrating the team. A little goofy yes but I'm fine with that. I also don't believe it's right to single out one player. This thing could become a team distraction much like it has already become a fan distractor.

  • I don't see anything wrong with fans shouting out for a particular player on their own but for the folks in charge to instigate things for a specific player isn't right. It screams bushleague and favoritism. Its just in poor taste IMO for any organization to do things like that. I doubt the Browns plan on showing a graphic of Johnny and getting the fans to shout money, money, money and do the hand signal every time he gets put on his back.

Wow.....just wow.  A Lawyer that doesn't understand how inappropriate this is?  I always thought this guy was some juvenile. LOL  Can you imagine how the parents will feel if they were to read his comment, and to see that some people on here also take it lightly?  This guy needs banned, until he learns common decency & respect for people's children.

  • please people.  You know how the school gets a pic like this?  They BUY IT.  That means that the parents put that pic into the public, probably to make money.  So they can publish a pic like this, for money, but it's out of bounds to point out that it's a funny looking kid?  I call bs.  And yes, lighten up.

By the way, though I have no right to say anything here, I can make fun of that kids looks all I want...and the parents can't do squat about it.  THEY invite the criticism by making money on the kid's hilarious fAce

Why not say something about the parents to their face? and not make fun of an innocent baby. That's a "very beautiful baby"!using the word "monkey" to describe a human is very offensive to me as a black man. It's a good thing the baby isn't black, because all hell would break loose!

Every major college program I have been to a game at, they have a graphic on the video board for a fan favorite player who has a chant etc....

    Not bush league at all.

Herd fans are the whiniest cry baby b%t@($ in CFB.

It is Shuler's last year, and so he gets a extra that some of the others don't...why have a problem with that? Having an issue on this seems communist to me.

  • You guys definitely need to lighten up.

No reason to be pulling out the black card when the baby isn't even black. My goodness, this world has gone to %^&* when people are attacked for a comment such as this.
