There will be 76 teams playing in bowl games. Like t-ball, in D1 college level almost everyone gets a trophy.

Getting to a new years eve bowl will mean an undefeated season. How great that would be.

I have never brought them up in any post not related to whe. We were playing them in an upcoming game.  It seems like everywhere post has to mention wvu. I just don't get the obsession with having the bring them into every marshall discussion. If that makes me obsessed then so be it.

I don’t know wheather you read the Sporting News article linked to at the top of this thread or not. WVU was, in fact, listed in that article as facing Fla in the Liberty Bowl. I couldn’t help noticing the irony that the Bowl we used to strive for was the one they might have to settle for.  I did and still do believe my point was relevant to and based on the article.

You on the other hand posted an insulting diatribe that had nothing to do with any team mentioned in the article or any of the bowls in the article.

Your post has resulted in multiple posts discussing the thing you claim not to want to see discussed. If you really want to see fewer references to WVU; I’d suggest you take your thoughts on the subject and your  a-hole method of expressing yourself and keeping them to yourself.

Wow it just looks amazing to see us listed to be in a major bowl against a big time team. I honestly wasn't sure that would ever happen again for us. Not long ago we were nothing folks. We had lost all national respect under Snyder and Marcum as AD. We were a joke. Now we are listed in the Peach Bowl against Auburn. I think I would cry. I pray I can make that game if we make it. I am freakin going there no matter what.

Auburn was our opponent twice, also Ole Miss, Miss State and USC...

It really doesn't mean anything, yet...

have us in the Popeye's Fried Chicken Bowl (no joke) against Bowling Green or Western Michigan

It would be a travesty to go undefeated and get stuck in a bowl game against a MAC team. I mean, talk about a HUGE downer for our team and staff to get served that bowl. Would be much worse than having to play a ranked BYU team in 99.
