I feel like he has regressed somewhat this year as well. Devon Johnson in the backfield has been the difference maker this year for the HERD!

I've heard Birdsong is a stud.  He'll look different than Cato because he's about as mobile as the Washington Monument but at least he won't miss deep balls by 15 yards.

we absolutely must establish a running game in the second half.

I don't think our passing game is strong enough without a threat of a run.

That's not what I've heard.  It will probably be a while before we see another QB who can make plays with his feet as well as Cato can.

Stupidest thing a coach can do to try to freeze a kicker.  It just gives them a practice set up and maybe a practice kick.  Glad it bit Skippy in the butt.

Cato may have some Marshall passing records, but he clearly is behind Pennington, Leftwich & Peyton in QB ability.  After running the scout team all season, I think we will probably be better with Birdsong next year.

Cato may have some Marshall passing records, but he clearly is behind Pennington, Leftwich & Peyton in QB ability.  After running the scout team all season, I think we will probably be better with Birdsong next year.

Cato is also behind pre knee injury Stan Hill.
