RICK McCANNHUNTINGTON — Marshall Thundering Herd men’s basketball is ranked 310th of 355 teams in NCAA Division I for field goal percentage at 38.8 percent.Marshall, 4-8, made only 25.8 percent of its field goal attempts Monday and lost at Nevada, 83-55.That followed a 29.6 percent shooting performance Saturday in a loss at Arkansas State, 67-58.Also, the Herd has launched the fourth-most 3-points shots in the nation. VMI leads with 455 followed by Creighton (333), Coppin State (328) and Marshall (322). Marshall is 294th in the nation for 3-point field goal percentage at 29.5 percent.
