You have to wait for things to come clear…you have a rare unusual case such as the one with Troy Evans a few years ago.

There is no "hate crime" law in WV that applies to sexual orientation.  The Feds would need to jump in before "hate crime" becomes an issue.

Getting in a fight with somebody who happens to be gay is not a hate crime. Stopping your car to beat up two gay dudes because their kissing in public offends you is a hate crime and pretty %^&* deplorable.

For the first time ever, thanks for an excellent post.  I'm SO DAMNED TIRED of people jumping to conclusions on every criminal justice issue.  Let's see.  If this is true, then AMF.

I find the whole thing hard to believe. After all we've heard about how he's cleaned up , working harder, now a role model for others, etc. The whole scenario smells like fish. I'll wait until the investigations are over before I form an opinion.

Maybe it was due to something that happened earlier in the night at a club or something, he saw them on the way home and wanted to fight because of whatever happened prior.

If it's something like that and not just because they were two gay guys, does that change your opinions on what should be done?
