  • While I'd love to see Cato realize his dreams of the NFL, I hope this experience serves as a wake up call and he doesn't pass on other tryout opportunities like the Canadian Football League.

I'd like to see that too! Cato has taken the hard road all of his life. The Canadian league can be a stepping stone for Cato to make an NFL roster.

  • Reality is Cato is too small and doesn't have the arm strength. He can't pass the eye test nor the reality of the size an strength need for the NFL level.  He needs to find another avenue for a career.

  • Did he graduate?  That should be his continued focus.

  • With what he did for MU someone at the school needs to meet with him and discuss employment oppontunities ,that's the least he deserves.

  • Alex Bazzie's journey to the CFL also went through Browns' mini-camp...

I heard we needed a QB coach.

Or get the degree, get coached in the CFL, & THEN become a grad assistant.

I get so frustrated at times. Being a great fit for a job is often more important than any other consideration. IMO, Cato fits the CFL better than most of the starting NFL QB's. I'd love to see him catch on with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. 1st, they wear Green. 2nd, their fans are like the Packer fans...and I believe they would eat up Cato & his story.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.
