Yep, but nothing we can do about it except go play defense.

  • McManus was mugged. Do these Big 10 refs need seeing eye dogs. This reminds me of Clemson in 99.

I'm not sure I agree with that.........I don't know their zone read calls.........but he has made some very good reads and some that might have been ok, but if in question go with Johnson...........beyond that, I take much more issue with the calls and the substitution rotation.  How do you not have Devon in on that last series.............perhaps the most critical offensive series of the game...  Not a good game plan execution, for sure.

  • I doubt they throw on first or second down the rest of the game.

  • Strange to me we have so many players cramping. Half of these guys are from south Florida. This is everyday football heat for them.

You're right Dan.  I just can't believe that it can be so simple and obvious.

Pretty normal actually on a first game and day like today.... has happened both ways.  and has happened all over the country if the weather was hot and humid..... nothing really you can do about it.... also happens more to well conditioned, heavily muscular players....

  • I hate to defend Snyder about anything.  But, he really emphasized hydrating for several days before the game.  Rarely, did we cramp.

some of it is just plain stubbornness and believing too much in the "infallibility" of your plan
