HUNTINGTON — As a high school standout in Hampton, Va., Marshall running back Tony Pittman epitomized what football in the Tidewater area of Virginia was all about.Pittman was a hard-nosed rusher that saw as much success with yards after contact as he did with bouncing off the edge and using his speed. His style is how he earned the nickname "Pitbull" — one that has stuck with him through his college career with the Herd as well.
