Even in the familiar setting of the Tampa/St. Petersburg area, the Marshall quarterback was all about business.

"I'm not home until the 26th after the game," Litton said. "I'm here to win a game. We're all here to win 10 (games) and we know that this is probably the best defense we've played all year, so you can tell through preparation that we're getting ready for them. We're excited to compete against them and go win a game."

While the game is a celebration for both teams of accomplishments throughout the year, it is a benchmark game for both sides - albeit in different ways.

Marshall is attempting to finish with 10 wins for the third consecutive season, which would mark the first time the Herd did that since 1997 to 1999 - its first three years on the FBS level with Chad Pennington at quarterback.
