Well we do have, by all local accounts, a very strong verbal commit by a great Lee Co (GA) QB, Garet Morrell. Some of the FB'ers I teach think he's really good along with one of our assistants who has coached at a clinic that Morrell attended.

No disrespect to the young man, it sounds like he is very good.  But for as many QB success stories as we've had, we've had just as many hyped-up QB recruits that didn't pan out.  I believe it when I see it on the field.

And your point is excellent & well-taken. Many hyped QB's prospects don't pan out for any number of reasons. One reason is that the starter ahead of them is so good that there is little chance of beating them out.
