I have no problem with a 2-3 seed. The only drawback of not being #1 is that we don't put ourselves into position for an automatic NIT bid.

I was looking more at the top 3. Want to stay out of playing UAB in the semifinal.

We can mathematically lock up a 2 seed by beating MTSU and LT. That would be huge for the conference tourney. Avoid UAB until the final and have a much easier quarterfinal since there seems to be a drop-off in quality after the top 6.
