I like that we played them this close to the tournament down there.  Great tournament prep.  Wish we could have pulled out the win, but we played a heck of a game.

Hard to beat a good team 3 times but UAB is real good. Burks had a hell of game. He might be a better matchup against UAB and have Loop come off  the bench.

How many times will we play a team like UAB and come this close when Loop goes scoreless, believe Cotton said he was 0-5 or 6 from three, and Elmore goes 1-9 or 1-10 from three?  No way will we shoot that badly, believe less than 40% from three, if we play them again.  And look how many put backs, close shots, lay-ups, etc., we missed in the second half!!

In both games MU had boat loads of chances/shots(pun intended) to win.  They just haven't and UAB has been both lucky and very good.  Both of those things don't normally hold long term.  I think IF MU can get to the finals and face the Blazers again that MU will break through, finally.  Still lots of basketball ahead before that though.
