Topic: HR: WV Athletic History that binds MU and WVU

Two of the best athletes to come out of WV were from Bluefield.  One went to WVU the other to Marshall.  This is a great story and below are the links that will explain.  Also, all Black Park Central HS in Bluefield was nicknamed the Thundering Herd.  One article was from the Bluefield DT and the other one is a post by another MU alumnus Lawson Brooks on the blog of Craig T. Greenlee who wrote the book November Ever After.
