  • Just got home. We are down 52-50 with around 15 minutes to go.

I'm listening to the game here:

  • 60-56 with 11:34 to go.

Marshall is now in the bonus.

I found a link online, but its one of the pirated sites. The site has our game on the Coastal feed and the Coastal game on our feed, so the link is correct.

  • 67-56 with 10:37 to go.

We have forced some turnovers and are currently 21-26 from the FT line.

  • 71-67 with 6:59 to go in the game.

Stevie Browning is having a great game so far. We have Taylor and Elmore resting for the home stretch.

  • As good as Steve Cotton is at calling radio PxP for FB, he is even better at basketball.  What a gift for us & MU.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

  • Marshall wins 85-77

Team was 30-36 on FTs tonight.

    5,872 fans in attendance.

Stevie Browning finished with a career high 30 points. Not bad for just a D2 kid  8)

  • I watched on cusatv.  Not bad.

    My thoughts

My two favorite players need to get it together that's Elmore and Taylor

Browning had great night and made difficult shots.  Do we want to depend on him having to do that?

Fouls. We would lose our minds if fouls and associated FTs were reversed.  That was difference in game.

Didn't see our offense creating many great shots.

Peneva shows good athleticism for big man but better learn to go strong.  Such a pus

  • I decided a long time ago to pay the $9.95 per month for MU broadcasts directly.  I find it worth the $100 or so per year to keep all the malware, etc. off my computer.

  • The foul discrepancy was completely legitimate. Morehead held and hacked every time we went to the basket.

  • Reminded me of the old "Barn Burner" games that we played in the old Field House.
Back and forth, each team hitting shot after shot.

The Herd was in mid-season form.  Browning was in the zone the entire game.  Morehead's quick, athletic guards had no answer for him.  Elmore was solid at point guard running the offense and scoring as well. Taylor did OK but was out of control sometimes.  Peneva and Nikolic played well as substitutes.

Great game against a very good Morehead team.
Retired 10 years early to follow Herd sports.
Those 10 years have been marvelous.

  • Have to agree with you on Steve Cotton...always enjoy listening to him.  Good win for us tonight....I think we lost by about 25 down there last year.  I think we will continue to get better and get Burks in the mix in a month and we should be pretty good.

Its the EXACT same feed you get on the pirated sites. Difference is you don't have to deal with the ads.

I have Norton Antivirus Protection so I'm not worried about it.

  • We did a great job of attacking the basket and drawing fouls tonight.

As overherd stated, we will be even better when we get Burks back.

Peneva was huge in the first half. Was able to draw a lot of fouls and then knocked down his free throws when he got them. Plus he used his length to play some good D. With that said he's got to attack the rim more aggressively. Had he done that a few of those fouls may have been And-1s instead.

As for the FT discrepancy, credit us for realizing the game was being called tight and us taking the ball at them while they sat back and settled for a lot of Jumpers.

He has some game but needs serious weight training. Probably a RS year would help. He did make things happen but couldn't quite finish when bumped.
