Topic: Dave Peyton: Government proof surfaces that UFOs exist

Unaccustomed as I am to gloating, I am breaking that longstanding tradition with this column. I am going to gloat.

Perhaps 10 years ago, I wrote a few columns expressing my belief that UFOs are not a figment of the imaginations of the insane. I wrote a few more like that recently.

I have felt for years that UFOs, which are creations of aliens, are real and the reason they have come to earth are for peaceful purposes that will soon be revealed.

I rarely read Peyton because of his liberal views, but we found common ground in this UFO article.

The government has spent millions (largely away from the eyes of the public) on UFO research and study.

Do they exist? Or is this just a huge waste of time and money?

I'm one of these people that have to see it too believe it. Kind of like ghosts or bigfoot? I don't believe it until I see it. If all these things exist....why is there no proof after all this time? They never have caught a bigfoot. No proof of ghosts and never real proof of UFO's. I won't bet my life they don't exist, but until there is proof, I don't believe it.

This is a fun video of the universe that will make one think about our place in it. I've seen two things in my life I can't explain. I worked for an airline for several years in the 80s and 90s so I have some experience with identifying aircraft in the sky but by no means am I an expert.

The first time I saw something was 1997 in Centerville / Kettering Ohio area with my wife. Pulled off side of highway at night with many other people watching something hovering about 200 ft over corn field that was dark and not lit up. It was dropping balls or orbs of blue, green and white lights. It was probably quarter mile away and made no noise. We watched for about 15 minutes until it stopped. Never saw it leave but it was gone. It was mentioned on the local news that night and next day. We were about 10 miles from WPAFB so gut tells me it was probably military in nature.

Second time I saw something I can't explain was a few years ago when I took my dog out around 430 am. It was a crystal clear night and I could see many stars. As I was staring in the sky I saw what I would describe as a star move and then move back. I know it wasn't a star but it also wasn't a plane. For perspective it moved about 1 1/2 - 2 inches within 15 seconds. At first I thought it might be satellite but not sure due to it moving and then moving back where it originally was. Could be military but don't know. Like I said it looked like a star among stars in the sky. Even if it was military that was quite a distance it moved.

Like others I don't believe in aliens because I've not seen proof. But then again there are countless ancient drawings, structures and symbolism all over the world that depict beings or "Gods" from the sky which are thousands of years old. I'm only 53 so it's possible there's things out there we haven't lived long enough to see yet.

I think of Bigfoot as being , if it exists , some kind of ape , not a human/ape mix , just an ape . The gorillas were rumored to exist for years but nobody from the outside world ever seen one , now , almost every zoo has one . So , I think Bigfoot could exist but not the religious , missing link Bigfoot people would like to believe , its just a big ape.

Loch Ness monster ? sure , why not ? I think theres a lot of things under water we have never seen . Im sure the ocean is full of suprises , probably some pretty scary suprises too.

UFOs ? well , Im sure there are things we cant explain but I think a lot of sightings are military related , secrets they don't want known to the general public.

Knowing how much this writer and family place upon the strict rule of substaniation...I truly believe he might be onto something...it may always be a step of faith, but to move one step forward? what must we do?

Like you, I'm always mesmerized when I see pictures from the Hubble telescope. Not only is the good lord awesome! but also you can see God's inner beauty! About the big bang theory and it's massive explosion in a zillionth of a second, it was God's expansion of the universe.

I totally agree! Like you said, this just didn't happened by accident. The Master Plan from the Supreme Man!

If you think about it. There is no way all this just happened. The way the Human body works. The we the Life chain works. The way the earth replenishes itself and heals itself. And then the Universe that we will never fully understand. If anyone doesn't believe in the Almight God, then I just can't understand it. It truly is amazing what he created.
