  • Hey guys...seems like we had a lot of new papas over the past year, and since there is no better father/child bonding experience than Herd football, I hope every dad, new and old, has a GREAT one.  And if your dad is still around, give him a call and a hug.  It ain't always easy, fellas, but as for me, I have been many things in my life and the thing I love most is being a Dad.

  • congratulations bbcard1!  Nice post and I wish all fathers out there happy father's day!  Dad's be thankful for what you have...I am.  It's a blessing to be called dad and don't take those things for granted.  It didn't happen for me...always wanted to be a father but it just didn't happen.  I believe in my heart I would have been a great one.

  • I thought this time last year, on my first father's day that it was the best day ever! But next year will be twice as nice, because Anita and I found out earlier this week that we have our second child on the way!

  • I'm rather envious of those of you that are dads and those of you that have a dad still alive to celebrate with.

I lost my dad over 3 years ago and I was never blessed to have children

Mercy this one really came out of deep left field. what wvu guy posted in this thread? I agree with the last statement about beating them in fball especially after the staff screwed Herdfans out of a victory in the 2010 game. They should have followed the old saying the last eight minutes of that game--if ain't broke don't fix it--meaning you're winning the game & the other team hasn't shown they can beat your scheme so don't change the plan thats got you winning by two plus TDs.
