Topic: Marshall vs. FIU opening line

  We are going to get everyone's best game because we are ranked.  In theory, we should easily win our next four games......but as long as we continue to grow as a team and be able to adjust, we should have an answer for everyone's best.   I've been reading these boards since 2017, and I remember all the complaining of how we couldnt remain consistent in conference play, how our teams never lived up to their potential.....oh yeah, the never ending 'Fire Doc' garbage too (surprisingly it's still around, although more hush hush now lol). It is such a breath of fresh air to read the boards this year.....pieces have came together, we have an intelligent and capable QB to lead the offense, our Head Coach is finally to some extent allowing his coordinators to do their jobs, our running game is brutal (McDaniel imo is gonna be a beast when he's RB1) and our receiving corps doesn't have much of a drop-off since they finally have a QB who can get them the ball.....the defense I figured would be our weak spot....but they have surpassed all expectations.   I hope we finish out this year with a conference championship, a top 15 ranking, and a good bowl game (NY6 would be nice,but a lot has to happen for that)....this season could have so much impact on the future, and i am so proud of this team.   I have bled green and white since I was a child, stormed the field when Merrick kicked that FG to beat YSU, and watched with so much anxiety, games throughout the years under different coaches and conferences, and I see this team could end up one of the top 10 all time teams at Marshall.  Sorry I was all over the place, I haven't actually ever posted before the other day lol..... anyways, back to the original thread.   We SHOULD cover that spread...I don't think it's a shocking number
