Don't know if this is true or not or if Wells has a concussion. According to this Twitter Wells has a broken rib..

If he had a bad enough concussion to be out he likely would have not returned to field because of light sensativity etc.

If broken rib(s) it's not likely he'll be playing in bowl game depending on severity (I broke 2 ribs last day of Sept. and am still dealing with it)
