Honestly I think fans would enjoy the product if it was enjoyable. Catos teams were that last ones I truly enjoyed watching. I don't want to watch an anemic offense, poor oline play, poor wr play, poor qb play, poor d line play, poor lber play, poor cb play, poor special teams play and most of all, poor coaching. I'm not sure what there is to enjoy?
Agree. If a team isn't winning then the product on the field has to be enjoyable for fans to watch and stay engaged. The X's, O's, and strategy may be enjoyable for diehard football fans but for the average fan much of it goes over their head, they need more. The average fan needs those moments of excitement during the game that Huff just isn't delivering this season.
If the team is going to go winless the entire month of October then Huff has to put an exciting product on the field. He has to give the fans a reason to stay engaged and want to watch the game. Failing to score a touchdown in two consecutive games against peer opponents that are beatable is not exciting and it doesn't give the average fan a reason to give up 5-6 hours or more on a Saturday to attend a game. That's not even exciting enough for most fans to give up 3.5-4 hours to sit in front of a tv to watch.
If this team doesn't get turned around this season then the Marshall ticket office is going to have a heck of a time selling season tickets next year.
